1967 Tube Stock at Ealing Common
In addition to its natural home on the Victoria
Line, the 1967 Stock was used on the Central Line service between Woodford and Hainault
until 1984. The trains were run as 4-car units on the Central. Units were
transferred to and from the Victoria Line for maintenance via Ealing Broadway and Finsbury
Park. This units is seen at Ealing Common during a stock transfer move.
Tripcocks were fitted specially for the transfer and a changeover from manual to
automatic driving took place at Finsbury Park. Photo by F W Ivey.
